Gig Harbor Overview
The quiet waterfront village of Gig Harbor draws on its historic ties to the water. Fishing remains a way of life for many Gig Harbor residents and working boats can be seen in the protected harbor most of the year, which contribute to its character.
But most find Gig Harbor's allure existing in its scenery and escape from the mundane.
This place is unique. And the people who live here know it. For those who don't make this their home, it's been said that they would like to be able to bottle it up and take it with them.
If you're visiting Gig Harbor, take time to stroll the waterfront area, where multihued art galleries, specialty shops and dining options abound.
At the north end of the harbor, savor a Kodak moment with a majestic view of Mount Rainier framed by watercraft and sky blue water. It's a scene that's pictured on postcards locally and seen on calendars and in destination books worldwide.
Compared to the Seattle Metro Area, the Gig Harbor still presents great values in homes, waterfront and view property. It's a place where memories are made and dream homes are found.
